Not by the cubic yard — by the contractor. These are the people who have pulled the most working outfits onto DirtIndex, which is the whole reason there's material near you at all. Every name here made somebody else's haul shorter.

Not a single name. The trophy is still in the box, the podium is a stack of pallets, and somewhere out there is a contractor about to send one invite and take first place unopposed.

Short version: bring in contractors who actually use the thing. Spraying invites at people who never list anything is worth exactly zero.
A point per person
Invite a contractor from another company. Once they join and their company has at least one active site listed, you score one point for every person at that company. A one-person outfit is one point; if they grow to four and keep listing, it's four.
You have to keep earning it
Nothing is banked. The board is rebuilt from scratch every night against who is listing today. If a company you referred archives its last active site — or flips it to a potential job — you lose all the points for that company that night, not a slice of them. Put a listing back up and they come straight back.
Ranks fall too
Which means you can drop a few spots, or off the board entirely, on a night you did nothing wrong. That's the deal: this measures contractors who are listing right now, not invites you sent once in the spring.
Counted once, honestly
A company counts once no matter how many invites you sent it, inviting someone into your own company scores nothing, and potential (bid) sites don't count — nobody else can see them, so they'd be the cheapest thing to fake.
Prizes
To be determined at a later date. Until then the prize is your name in front of the whole industry, which is not nothing.
Don't game it
Any manipulation using false users or false site data results in a permanent ban from the leaderboard. Fake companies are obvious from the map, and we look.
Everyone is on the board by default. You can take yourself off — or put yourself back on — from the personal tab of your profile. Only a first name and last initial is ever shown.
